Our History:

ECA was founded in April 1975 by David McCarthy, an Electrical Engineer. Through his vision and leadership ECA expanded from manufacturing wiring harnesses to providing electrical solutions for panel system furniture. As the demand for power and data in offices changed over the years, ECA began offering new products to meet those needs. This new line of worksurface products grew until now it encompasses hundreds of different style products for virtually any application. David McCarthy passed away in May of 2004 but his legacy lives on through his employees and products. In May of 2006 Premier Manufacturing Group, a partnership consisting of two long time employees and a third business associate purchased ECA.

Our Future:

The new owners of ECA are committed to building on its strengths while also investing in its future. Commitments to product development, customer service and support and the manufacturing of quality products are their top priorities. These key elements have become the building blocks for ECA’s future.

ECA is located in Shelton Connecticut. Our products are typically UL Listed, UR recognized or CSA certified.

ECA Wins Northeast Excellence in Manufacturing Award

ECA was awarded the AME Northeast Excellence in Manufacturing award by the AME (Association for Manufacturing Excellence). ECA was recognized for our dedication and ongoing commitment to Lean Manufacturing principles used throughout the organization. ECA is an active supporter of continuous improvement and proudly hosts best practice tours and round table discussions throughout the manufacturing community. We are proud of our accomplishments and are dedicated to continuing the pursuit of excellence and providing world class products and service to our customers.
